« Criterium National Champion wasn’t exactly the title I came here for, but I think I can still be pretty proud of this one.

I wasn’t able to prepare for the road race the way I did last year, and it left me in an anxious state that I just couldn’t shake, even after the race started. I fought the best I could, and considering I wasn’t feeling at my best, finishing in the top five is still a good result!

Winning the criterium the next day was just unreal. Thank you to my teammies Mathilde Huot, Jazmine Lavergne, to my favorite human Carson Miles, to my family for the support, and to the staff Gerard Pennaroya.

I’m looking forward to building on this momentum and creating new opportunities for the rest of the season.

And a huge thank you to all of my sponsors, as well as my team’s partners, for making moments like this possible. I’ll wear this jersey with pride every chance I get »
