Change doesn’t mean that everything is over

« Mont Sainte-Anne was such an emotional weekend for me. I am taking a step back from World Cup racing, but I still want to continue competing. I love racing very, very much and I still have a lot to give to the sport, energy and competitiveness inside of me. I will give myself permission to try different aspects of cycling, have more freedom in what I want to do, and dream new dreams.

Sport is a magical place, and it should always be something we are excited to do.

It was such a hard year of setbacks, learning to push through and ask myself the hard questions. I wouldn’t have been able to get through all of it without my amazing Pittstop squad. They brought the joy out of me every single racing weekend. And I’m forever grateful to be part of such a wonderfully committed team.

I will end my season by racing the Icemen Challenge, and I can’t wait to give my all one last time this year. See you on a start line near you soon again. »
