I had an absolute blast racing this past weekend and finally felt back to (somewhat) normal on the bike. Really grateful I got the opportunity to race and represent my country at such a cool event.
The race started out pretty hectic with crashes around me and starting from the back row. Ended up finishing 68th/109 elite women starters and truly am so proud of that result. One of the coolest races/course I’ve ever done. The atmosphere in Leuven and throughout the race was unforgettable.
Gravel is really cool and I am looking forward to adding them to my calendar in 2025. This year felt hard in so many ways and getting to finish it off here at gravel worlds felt amazing.
I have a feeling this won’t be my last time racing in Belgium
