Well, after some investigation recently, it turns out I've been carrying Epstein-Barr virus and suffering from possible reactivation.
For the moment, I'm more frustrated about having to miss the Grands Prix cyclistes in Québec and Montréal. I was so excited to come back and race on the biggest stage at home with family and friends. Wasn't meant to be for this year.
It definitely sucks, but that's just how it is sometimes and taking a break is all I can do for the moment.
That would actually explain some of the ups and downs I've been having throughout the season and not feeling myself for a while.
Won't mind taking the time to do everything but training which is not something we usually do that often!
