What my off-season looks like. Not much rest for the body, but honestly, I don’t feel like my body needs the rest. I sure did need a mental rest from riding my bike. Running out there on very challenging terrain, pushing myself way off my comfort zone, and exploring my home deep into the mountains has given me so much energy!

I have this massive knot in my stomach thinking about some people’s opinions and that I’ve only improved from the surgery day until today!

This season has been crazy complicated: Massive surgery, COVID, concussion 1, Le Tour de France femmes, car accident, concussion 2…

And despite it all, every day I took my bike, I got better.

So some might say I’m over (my mind included at times). But I’ll agree to disagree. I am a fighter, always striving for more, even if it takes a long ass time, and I know I will return to my podium ways. No doubts!

So whatever you say, watch me! It’s not about the money, it’s about love.
