« Looking back on 2022! I rode in some new places, favorite places and epic places.

Thank you to @equipofarto for the opportunity to give another shot in the euro peloton and get a taste of the beautiful Galicia region.

Nationals across the country and the cancellation of some races brought me the opportunity to reunite with my family for a short but such memorable trip in the west - definitely helped put in perspective my 2nd place in the TT.

I got to do another beautiful bikepacking trip, riding the whole course of the Tour Divide. Something that had scared me as much as excited me since the idea came into my mind!

So proud of myself for giving it a try and not stopping at my fear. Step by step, pushing the boundaries a little further.

In the fall, some time at home brought a renewed energy to try new things and I launched a training group for women.

I’ll have to pass on Track Nationals now since my crash in November (AC ligament partially torn), but despite a slower return to the track, I’m excited to see what I can do on the oval again in the next year.

I won’t tell too much about my plans for 2023 yet, apart from the fact that I’m not returning to UCI road racing in the short term, but my plans certainly will continue to include some more riding and discovery.
