Last month, David and I woke up and decided it was a good day to get married. We had been engaged for 6 years, but that day, in Flagstaff, we were happy and the vibe was good so we decided that it felt right. It might seem random, but I had never been more certain about something than the fact that I wanted to spend my life with David Gagnon. .
I had always said that bikes would not be involved in my wedding, but that day we felt like going on a fun MTB ride. We went on an epic MTB adventure around the mountains in Flagstaff and had a few mechanical problems, which had us sprinting to the court to not be late for the wedding! Perfect !
Of course I had no dress, so I chose to wear my nicest white Rapha jersey and Dave wore his classiest black Specialized jersey. Our dear friends Caitlin C. Bernstein and Franz Bernstein were there with us and it was so special to share that with them.
Later, we picked up the doggies, ordered pizza from our favorite place and all of us had a picnic in the park. It was simple, yet perfect! I’ll remember this day (and this ride) for a long time !
