Our caracter as cyclists has been tested in the most difficult of fashion's in the last months, but it seems the toughest days are behind us. Piggybacking on the European competitive cycling restart, road races have been approved to go ahead starting the 15th of August in the team's home base of Montreal, Quebec.
Throughout the month of July, the team participated in a number of competitions in the province of Quebec, supporting organizers who went out of their way to make races happen amidst a pandemic. The FQSC has been making wonders happen with safe timed events. Individual time trials are also a go for some of our American riders. People in the US have even been as creative as creating offroad timed events. The early signs of the Worldtour lead up to the Tour de France is promising. The testing protocol seems to work and very few riders are being sidelined for a positive covid-19 test. We can only hope that this trend continues.
The team continues its activities both in France, USA and Canada. We can confirm 4MIND Project will enter a team to the Quebec Team Time Trial Championships and will also be well represented at the Quebec Road Race, Time Trial and Criterium Championships.
We are then looking to run a North American Cyclocross calendar. We are also waiting on the approval of the Guatemalan government to book travel to the Vuelta Guatemala UCI 2.2
Many of our athletes have won local individual timed events in the lead up to this restart which brings a high level of motivation. Along with our announcement of graduation the team to the UCI Continental level in 2021, 4MIND Project would like to announce that it will be organizing a spring classic next season adding to the offering of elite races in the North East.
