We are facing very challenging times with the global covid-19 pandemic. It affects 4MIND Project from a sporting aspect as all races are cancelled until further notice, but we see that we, as a team, can play a significant role in mitigating the effects of the pandemic on mental health. It is well documented that the world sanitary situation is very unstable which tends to compound any mental health struggles. Anxiety disorders and addictive behaviors can be exacerbated by dire financial situations which seem to be pointing in our very near future. 4MIND Project is currently looking for volunteering opportunities to help support our communities through this struggle as racing is suspended.
On a sporting level, 4MIND Project started their season at GP Patagonia UCI 1.2 in Puerto Montt, Chile. William Goodfellow, Michel Jean, Jean-Michel Lachance, Daniel Leithner and David Williams represented the team very well in the world's most Southern UCI race. Jean-Michel provided our outfit with it's first UCI points of the year with an 8th place. The team raced aggressively all day along with some of the most titled cyclists in the Americas.
