«Thank you to everyone who reached out to me in the last days. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed but very loved.
During the final descent in Trofeo Binda on Sunday one of my tires lost traction and I went down hard. Since then I’ve been at the race hospital in Italy and the team hospital in Maastricht. I have a break in my collarbone which will not require surgery thankfully. All other tests came back fine. I am sore but getting better.
I’m extremely disappointed to miss the rest of the spring. I’m heading back to Canada soon so I can heal up at home.
A huge thanks to @boelsdolmansct for taking care of me so well after the crash. Also, thanks to @3therese for being such a good friend and helping me out while I’m still in Spain.»
