An exciting season

« What a weekend at Red Hook Crit in Milan with Specialized-Rocket Espresso ! It was the Red Hook Crit with the most participants ever and included the Red Hook vet's, some European Tour riders and even a track world champ!

Qualifying was short and sweet. I managed to take first position after a really tight final sprint with Rachele Barbieri.

Things really heated up in the final race. The strategy Carla Nafria and I had was simple. Win the first Prime. With her support I came out on top in both the Prime's giving me the points I needed to win the 2018 series and take the 'rock' home to Canada!

With 2 laps to go Nerea Uno went on a breakaway. The pack didn't follow. I went for it. It was all or nothing! In the last corners I lost my position and Rachele sprinted to the finish and took the win.

Thank you David August Trimble and your crew! And thank you Carla and the entire Specialized-Rocket Espresso Team for an exciting season. Shout out to the Montreal cycling community! You challenge me each week and make training fun. »
