Less than 500 miles to go

Pretty hard early morning on the road. Exhaustion has been making change of most of the car drivers every 15-20 minutes to get from point A to Z.

At time station 42, Greensberg, we realized that the RV had a flat tire. We decided to pack our things from RV (food and clothes) for 24 hours so that Chris could stay with the RV for reparations. That mean making sandwiches for 13 persons for the next 2 shifts in 45 minutes.

We got an update a few hours later, when we were in the car, that the RV had other problems (suspension and breaks) and couldn’t continue the road.

Chris is now managing the rental of a U Haul cub to bring back all the stuff left in RV as the rest of the team manage the schedule of the last 20 hours or so.

The racers haven’t stop. We are taking one motel room every exchange point for them to take shower. They are tired, but still feel good and eat well.

We are planning to finish the race late at night on Saturday.
