How did you get involved in cross-country skiing ? Inspired by my parents
How did you balance high school academics with athletics ? It is not easy, but you have to find a way to manage. You need to be disciplined, and that was the biggest challenge for me.

What is a typical training day ? I get up as late as possible, which means grabbing a very quick breakfast, and usually rush to get to training session. I will either ski or run first, work out with weights, and then I go home and have a rest. Late afternoons and evenings my parents keep me busy doing chores around the house.
When not skiing I am likely ? Mostly duck or goose hunting, snowboarding, or just relaxing. I also enjoy reading.
When finished sking I want to ? Work in a field that I am really interested in and where I can totally throw myself into my work.
Favourite Vacation Spot ? I love being around the ocean or a lake. I have to be by the water and find some peace and quiet in order to truly get away from the rat race in the city.
Movie or Read a Book ? I like to balance both - depending on what movie it is.
Favourite Book ? The Pianist by Wladyslaw Szpilman
Favourite Movie ? The Lord of the Rings
Favourite Actor/Actress ? Robin Williams
Favourite Competition Venue : Europe because it is warmer over there and the ambiance is completely different. Skiing is really popular over there and the caliber of competitors is really high so it always forces me to put everything on my line.
Favourite Olympic/Paralympic Moment ? Kenensia Bekele winning the 5,000 metre, which was absolutely amazing.
Inspiration ? There isn't really any one person who inspires me or whom I aspire to become. The people closest to me are the ones who inspire me the most, and that's the way it should be.
Favourite Colour ? Green
Cats or Dogs ? Dogs
If I had to do maintenance on my car what could I do ? Before I do anything, I'd have to buy a car!
Before a race, I will listen to what song ? I don't really listen to music just before a race.
Favourite Muscian ? I listen to almost all styles of music, from reggae to hardcore to French and francophone music.
Biggest accomplishment in life or sport ? I hope that is still yet to come!
