These representations are based on the amount of snow on the ground on Christmas Day (Dec. 25). A green Christmas is less than two centimetres of accumulated snow on the ground. Last year's Christmas is considered "green" because most of the snow had melted.

The last No Snow Christmas was in 1964 "There was 0cm of Snow no where to be seen" in Montreal, this is the Actual Second Time it happens in Montreal.
