Alexandre Despatie

1999

a) Alexandre represented Canada at the F.I.N.A. World Cup in Wellington, New-Zealand, January 16, 1999. He finished 17th at the 10M tower. Then we won a bronze medal at the German Grand Prix on March 7.

e) Alexandre participated in the 1999 Summer Nationals and Pan Am Games team trials . He finished fifth at the 1 metre springboard and won the bronze medal at the 3 metres springboard on June 13.

f) Alexandre participated in the 1999 Canadian Junior Diving Championships at the Montreal Olympic Pool, July 8 to 11. He won 3 Gold Medals and set 2 new canadian records. He will represent Canada to the World Junior Championships in Pardubice, August 18 to 22. Here is a press review

g) Alexandre participated in the World Junior Championships held in Pardubice, Czech Republic August 18 - 22, 1999. He won the gold medal at 1 metre and 3 metres and finished sixth on the 7.5 metres platform.
