« We raced our second race of the year Saturday at the UCLA road race in Pearblossom CA. We had 6 Silber riders take the start and made use of our numbers to land 4 in the days break of 12.

We started hitting out from the break pretty early with about 80-90km to go.

With 60km left I was given a gap and knowing Ben, Alex, and Nigel were in the group behind me disturbing the chase I knew I could just ride and if I got caught they had a free ride and could then go for it and if not then hopefully I had legs to make it to the finish.

I managed to stay away with Ben attacking and soloing in just behind for second and Nigel doing the same for third.

It was a great day out for the Cali contingent and Ryan and Michael had an equally productive weekend in Az from the sounds of it. »
