In 2004, Lyne is the leader of the new Quark Cycling Team. Before her first race of the season, she went to Europe. Read Here I am, flying to Spain!

Lyne was at the McLane Pacific Classic run in Merced, California, March 13 and 14. On her first training race, she finished 35th on the first day and 49th on the second. But, a few days later, Lyne won the Pomona Valley Stage Race run in California, March 18-21

Lyne wins the Redlands Bicycle Classic run in California, March 23-28.

- Lyne finished 16th at the time trial and could not finish the road race at the Olympic Games because of a crash
