Lyne is back with Saturn but her first race of the season will be the 'Cross World Championships in Monopoli, Italy (February 1-2). Here is what she said about that to The Canadian Cyclist on January 25.

Lyne finishes 18th at her first 'Cross World Championships on February 2.

Lyne finished fifth at the Pomona Valley Stage Race run in California March 6-9. She won her first race of the season on March 8. Read :

- Lyne was second at the Redlands Bicycle Classic run in California April 1-6
- second at the Sea Otter Bicycle Classic run in California April 9-12
- 10th at the 38th Amstel Gold Race, Netherlands, April 20
- 14th at the 6th Flèche Wallonne, Belgium, April 23
- Lyne finished second at the Tour de l'Aude run in France, May 16-25. She won stage 2 and got thew yellow jersey at stage 5 and kept it for 3 days
- 7th at the Montreal Women's Cycling World Cup on May 31
- 2nd at the Tour du Grand Montréal, June 2-4
- Lyne wins the Wachovia Liberty Classic on June 8
- 9th at the Nature Valley Grand Prix, June 12-15

Lyne participated in the Canadian Road National Championships, June 27-30. She became the new Time Trial Champion and finished 2nd in the road race
Lyne wins the Cascade Classic run in Oregon July 10-13
Lyne was the guest of honor at the Mardis cyclistes de Lachines on July 22
Lyne wins the Tour de 'Toona in Pennsylvania on August 3

Lyne Bessette Update after a crash at the Nurenberg World Cup on August 31

Lyne was at the 2003 Road World Championships, Hamilton, Canada, October 7-12. She finished 15th at the time trial and 17th at the road race.

Lyne is moving to Spain with Tim.
