Creemore Vertical Challenge 50 km is my favorite race in Ontario.

My goal was to beat my previous course PB of 5h48.

While running, I felt pretty weak out there and was beating myself up about it… 50 km is not my distance.

But the clock said 5h20 at the finishing line, ranked 4th female overall and won my age category. I'll take that!

But the best of the best was the awesome post race discussion I had with my awesome ultra peeps ! Congrats to everyone who ran it today.

My awards: a bowl, maple syrup, coffee and a medal !
